Lubbock Garage Floors & More's premier product, Rock Solid, is the world's first one day polyurea floor coating. This industrial-grade product is applied only by certified professionals, and uses the same technology as that of truck bed liners. Polyurea has also been utilized for over 25 years in industrial applications such as pipe/pipeline coatings, water treatment plants, and automotive fascia OEM molded parts. Rock Solid is 4 times stronger than any epoxy, and 98% more flexible. It's chemically-resistant to oil, gas, salt, and many other harsh chemicals. It will not stain. Motor oil can be wiped away with a rag, and cleaning the floor is as easy as maintaining vinyl: sweep it, mop it - even power wash it.
Using a micro-bond technology, Rock Solid utilizes 40,000 micro hooks per square inch, an industry-leading adhesion to concrete. Micro-bond technology creates a slip-resistant surface, while epoxy coatings are prone to be slippery in wet or even damp conditions. It's also a multi-coat system. Most epoxy systems come standard with as little as one thin coat of product.
A finished Rock Solid floor is durable enough to be used even in airplane hangars. We can apply it year-round, and in only one day on most projects. Rock Solid can handle foot traffic in 4 to 8 hours, and can handle weight as heavy as vehicles in 24 hours.
Rock Solid is the obvious choice for garage floors, but may also be used for patios, swimming pools, porches, and more. We can even apply it to wooden decks. Rock Solid is the first Polyurea coating to make Bio-Aspartic available. Added during the manufacturing process, it provides continuous built-in protection against MRSA, E.coli, and other deadly bacteria, as well as reducing mold and fungi. It will not leach, and cannot be wiped away, providing lifetime protection. It's ideal for any hygienic environment requiring a protected floor, such as hospitals and laboratories.
